Not sure how to get your German Shepherds fur to be nice and sleek? Well... In order to get sleek fur you have to first look at the German Shepherd you are purchasing or have purchased already. Most German Shepherds will have short fur that just aren't made for being sleek and soft. My German Shepherds that live at home with me right now have medium length fur, its fluffy and soft. My puppies fur is soft and she's fairly cuddly, it just depends on the parents and their genes. behavior adaptation One of the horses behavioral adaptations is survival, usually if they're alone they will sleep standing up and be completely aware of their surroundings even when asleep. Unlike many other animals, the horses eyes are placed on the side of their heads allowing them to see not straight but slightly forward and to the side. This allows them to be able to be more aware of their surroundings so they can watch for predators (since horses are a prey animal). The horse usually sleeps standing up because it hurts the horses body when laying down for long periods of time. The average horse sleeps at least 2 hours a day. Horses are
